K9 Dogcam

The K9 Dogcam has been designed and tested by our team to take the same low latency, long range video transmission from a drone and mount it to a dog. We designed and manufacture out of carbon fibre and 3D printed parts to make it incredibly durable.

The video stream can be viewed by the team locally on a monitor or streamed over 5G/Starlink to our DarkLake system to share the video with the wider team and stakeholders and integrate into existing platforms already adopted.

Overview

Search dogs can go where people cannot, or should not, go first. The K9 Dogcam gives the handler and the wider team eyes on what the dog sees, live, so they can make decisions from a safe position.

It uses the same low latency, long range video transmission that we fly on our drones, so the picture is quick and dependable. The housing is carbon fibre and 3D printed parts, designed to survive the knocks, dirt and weather that working dogs deal with every day.
