FireFly is our micro drone, built to go in ahead of entry teams and search buildings and confined spaces before anyone sets foot inside. Small enough to fit through a gap, doorway or stairwell, it carries a high-powered LED search light and streams live HD video straight back to officers on scene, and remotely to command via Microsoft Teams or other secure platforms.

We’re not claiming to have invented the micro drone — plenty of people build small quadcopters. What sets FireFly apart is that we design and build it ourselves in the UK, which means we can adapt it: different cameras, lights, payloads or radio setups, built to order and in whatever quantity a unit needs, rather than a fixed off-the-shelf spec.

Sent in first, FireFly gives officers real-time situational awareness before a forced or dynamic entry — confirming layout, occupants and hazards, and cutting down the uncertainty and risk of going in blind.
